Hyderabad: The IMD on Thursday issued a thunderstorm and squall warning for TS and Andhra Pradesh, In Telangana the warning holds for isolated places in the city and the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Nal-gonda, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Ranga Reddy and Khammam.
In AP the warning is for isolated places in the coastal districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore.
Temperatures across the two states began going up after the rains earlier this week. On Thursday the maximum temperature was 1-2ºC below normal at most places in the two states. Kurnool recorded the maximum temperature of 42ºC. The minimum temperatures in both states stayed in the range of 27-29ºC.
