DMK chief Stalin calls for all party meeting in Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu government had refused to entertain a request from Stalin to call for the all-party meeting
Chennai: DMK President M K Stalin has called for an all-party meeting on Wednesday, April 15, at the DMK headquarters to discuss the Coronavirus situation in the state.
According to a statement from Stalin, the meeting will be at 10 am at Anna Arivalayam on April 15.
The meeting assumes significance in the backdrop of the Tamil Nadu government refusing to entertain a request from Stalin to call for an all-party meeting and the hard-hitting statement issued by him against the chief minister Edappadi K Palanisamy on Sunday.
Besides, the government banning the providing of relief material to the poor and deprived people affected by the lockdown had earned the wrath of Stalin, who called the government ‘heartless’.
