Bengaluru: Traffic restrictions in CBD for PM Narendra Modi\'s visit
Bengaluru: The city traffic police have issued a traffic advisory in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet colleagues' visit to Bengaluru for a public meeting at Palace Grounds on Saturday.
Heavy traffic movement around Palace Grounds is expected and the police have put in traffic restrictions on parking and vehicular movement.
Vehicles coming for the programme at Palace Grounds from Mysore road should take Nayandanahalli left turn – Summanahalli – via Dr. Rajkumar samadi – Tumakuru road right turn – Goraguntapalya junction – left turn – towards BEL on to Outer ring road – Hebbal flyover – Bellary Road – Mehkri Circle Serive Road – Jayamahal Road and park at Circus Ground.
Vehicles coming from Tumakuru road should take the right turn – Goraguntapalya junction – left turn – towards BEL on to Outer ring road – Hebbal flyover – Bellary Road – Mehkri Circle Service Road – Jayamahal Road and park at Circus Ground.
Similarly, vehicles coming from Kanakapura road – Banashankari Temple Bus Stand – Rt.Turn – Rajalakshmi Junction to 4th Main Jayanagar – South End Circle – R.V.Junction – Lalbagh West Gate – Minerva Circle – J.C.Road – Town Hall – Police Corner – Lt.Turn – K.G.Road – Mysore Bank Circle – Rt.Turn – Palace Road – Basaveswara Circle – Old High Grounds P.S. Jn., - Avinash Petrol Bunk – Chandrika Junction – Udaya T.V. Jn., - Contonment under pass – Jayamahal Road and park at Circus Ground.

Similarly, vehicles coming from Doddaballapur Road– Major Unnikrishnan road junction – Yelahanka Police Station junction – right turn – Yelahanka bypass junction – Bellary road – Hebbal flyover - Mehkri Circle Service Road – Jayamahal Road and park at Circus Ground.
Cars and two-wheelers can be parked on Circus Ground and Tripuravasini Ground.
No Parking
Parking of all type of vehicles is banned in the following areas from 2 pm to 10 pm: Ramanamaharshi Road, Sri C.V.Raman Road, Bellary Road, from Hebbal Fly over, HQTC and Mehkri Circle, Jayamahal Road, Taralabalu Road, M.V.Jayaram Road, Palace Road, Palace Cross Road, R.T.Nagar Main, Water tank junction to Gundurao’s Residence, PRTC Jn., to Water Tank Jn., On Old Airport Road, On Cubbon Road, On Chalukya Circle, Residential roads of Sadashivanagar area

Due to traffic congestion around palace ground, vehicle users are advised to use following route to reach their destination.
From Bengaluru south towards International Airport
Basaveswara Circle – Old High Grounds P.S. Jn., - Lt.Turn – T.Chowdaiah Road – Windsor Manor Jn., Cauvery Theater Jn., - Lt.Turn – Bashyam Circle – Rt.Turn – Jeevraj Alwa Road – Sadshivanagar P.S. Jn., - New BEL Road – Hebbal Fly over and move towards K.I.A.L.
From Bengaluru East towards KIA
M.G.Road – Kamaraja Road – Thomas Cafe – Wheeler Road – I.T.C. Bridge – M.S.Nagar – I.O.C Bridge – Banaswadi Main Road – Lt.Turn – Outer Ring Road – Hennur Ring Road – Nagawara Jn., - Rt.Turn – Thanisandra Main Road – Hegde Nagar – Kattigehalli – Lt.Turn – Bagalur Cross – and move towards K.I.A.L.
From KIA towards Bengaluru east – Hebbal Fly over under pass – Lt.Turn – Outer Ring Road – Nagawara Jn., - Tannery Road – Hennur Junction and move further ahead.
From KIA towards Bengaluru West, South and North West
K.I.A.L. – Hebbal Flyover under pass – Rt.Turn – Kuvempu Circle – Lt.Turn – B.E.L. Circle – Sadashivanagar P.S. Jn., - Rt.Turn – B.H.E.L. Circle – Lt.Turn – Maramma Circle – Margosa Road – K.C.General Hospital and move further ahead.
