Hyderabad: A signature campaign garnering support from the medical fraternity for the new OGH building, has been started in Osmania General Hospital by the Joint Action Committee.
The JAC has stopped the protest in the hospital but are taking the consent and signatures of all the para-medical staff, nurses and doctors to pressurize the Government into taking up the work of the new building.
The infrastructure in OGH is in a bad condition and requires urgent attention. Assurances have been given by the Government repeatedly but the doctors state that action at the ground level is missing. While the TS Government has sought one-week's time to make the road map, the JAC is clear that it will not stop in its activities hence support from all medical sectors is being drawn.
