Hyderabad High Court refuses bail to tainted HMDA official

Hyderabad: Hyderabad High Court on Thursday refused bail to former director (planning) of HMDA K. Purushotham Reddy in the disproportionate assets case.
Justice M. Satyanarayana Murthy refused bail on grounds of Anti-Corruption Bureau registering another case against him for misusing his official position to amass wealth.
ACB senior counsel Ravi Kiran Rao said that granting bail to Purushotham Reddy at this stage would hamper the investigation.
