Telangana: Budget session to be held till March 27
HYDERABAD: Budget Session of Telangana Assembly will continue till March 27. A decision regarding this was taken in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting held under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudana Chary. Soon after the Joint Session of Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council, after the Governor’s address, the BAC met on Monday. According to the BAC’s decisions, finance minister Etela Rajendar will present the Annual Budget for 2018-19 financial year on March 15.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will give the reply on March 14 for the discussion on Governor’s address. BAC has decided that there will be no sittings on March 16, 17 and 18. On March 19, Mr Rajendar will reply to the discussion on the Budget. BAC had decided to hold the Assembly session on March 25. On March 27, after passing the Appropriation Bill, the Assembly’s Budget Session will be adjourned sine die. Before that, on the last day, the government will introduce the Bills, if any, in the House.
