VIJAYAWADA: Jana Sena president and popular film star Pawan Kalyan, along with his wife Anna, Mr Pawan Kalyan laid the foundation stone for the construction of his residence-cum-personal office at Kaza village in the capital region of Amaravati on Monday. The ritual for laying the foundation started at 8.26 am with Pawan Kalyan and his wife Anna performing the Homam and at 9.30 am the couple laid the foundation stone for the new home which would also serve as his personal office. After the ceremonial ritual, the couple was presented with new clothes. The ceremony ended with the couple worshipping a sacred cow.
The house would be constructed in the two-acre site which was purchased recently near Kaza toll gate on Kolkata-Chennai National Highway from where Pavan Kalyan would continue his political activities in future. Later, he spoke to the media. He remained that his father worked as a constable in Guntur district. He opined that the people are having belief in Jana Sena party and they have to follow according to the people’s views. He said he will clarify his opinion on the Special Status. He said his plan of action and said “we have taken 12 members as panel members and welcoming new persons to the party. My assets are my own earnings and I lost my assets few times and again I earned. These are the assets of the people”.
Later, Pavan Kalyan visited the ground near NU where public meeting would be held on March 14. He enquired the details of the arrangements with the senior leader Madasu Gangadh aram is also looking after the programme.
