Bengaluru: On the deathbed, a 20-year-old chartered accountancy student realised that his last wish is to donate his eyes and requested the doctors to take his eyes after he met with an accident on Sunday night in Rajajinagar traffic police limits. The deceased, Himanshu Garg, was a resident of Nandini Layout.
According to the police, Himanshu was returning home after finishing his internship when he lost control of the bike, skidded and fell around 11.30 pm near Saraswathipuram Main Road. Passersby rushed him to a hospital. Knowing that he would die soon, he requested the doctors to donate his eyes before breathing his last at 1 am.
On Monday morning, his parents fulfilled his last wish before taking his body back home.
