CBSE likely to change its curriculum

The objective is to make the content more balanced in order to promote the all-round development of students.

Hyderabad: In order to implement a more balanced curriculum that encourages the development of life skills, the CBSE board has invited suggestions from teachers, academics, students, parents and any other stakeholders associated with the school education system.

The board has invited suggestions regarding the curriculum, syllabus and subject matter for classes I to XII as prescribed by the NCERT and the CBSE. The objective is to make the content more balanced in order to promote the all-round development of students.

According to the board, for the development of a fairer, more egalitarian society comprising of well-balanced human beings, it is important to give adequate attention to life skills, experiential learning, health and physical education, sports, literary and creative skills, etc.,
