Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out in the godown of Spice Bawarchi Hotel in Kanchanbagh. The fire was sparked by a short circuit and overheating of the godown due to lack of ventilation.
Station fire officer D. Tirupati said, “The fire was minor, but the smoke was dense, and there was difficulty in dousing the fire. But we managed to put out the fire. Due to lack of ventilation the smoke spread rapidly. There were no casualties. The loss could be around Rs 50,000.
