This Bengaluru girl will be the face of yoga, Ayush
Bengaluru: This MBA graduate, who was working in a bank as a corporate trainer, had no idea that her personal foray into yoga would catch the attention of the Indian Ministry of Ayush. Neha Goyal has now been selected by the ministry to represent the country's heritage beyond borders.
Under the systematic plan of the government to preserve the heritage of yoga and expand its knowledge, Neha will be posted in South Korea. "Yoga has helped me organise my talent and energy. It also helped me channelise my energy in more focussed manner which actually brought me to such a responsible position of Yoga ambassador. I want to thank my Guru, Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, for introducing me to yoga and the Ayush Ministry for selecting me as yoga ambassador," says young Neha.
As she pursued yoga, she experienced increased personal power and self-awareness. This made her do many yoga Courses, she said. She did a training programme from Art of Living and started yoga teaching. She was a lead participant in the yoga dance at the World Cultural Forum of Art of
Living held in Delhi 2016. She got the Yoga Instructor Certificate from S. Vyasa University. She also did an MSc in yoga therapy and is now pursuing PhD in yoga.
