Chennai: Founder and general secretary of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK), Vijayanth, will attend the party’s executive and general council meeting to be held on December 14 at the GPN Palace marriage hall at Thiruverkadu at 8.45 am.
Since Vijayakanth, who was recently admitted to hospital for treatment, has been discharged and is said to be doing well, the party has called for the meeting in which treasurer Premalatha Vijayakanth would address the gathering after holding discussions on the future plans for the party.
The meeting is planned to devise the strategy for the coming Lok Sabha elections as campaign secretaries, along with all top leaders and functionaries, have been instructed to attend it without fail.
