Hyderabad: As many as 3,943 posts for medical personnel have been created in Telangana state, according to a government order. Doctors, para-medical staff and administrative staff in health care will be appointed.
A total of 1,191 assistant civil surgeons and 483 civil surgeons are to be recruited. More than 60 pharmacists, 153 lab technicians and 33 radiographers are to be hired. The nursing section will see recruitment to 700 posts and the number of physiotherapists required is 45.
Health minister Dr C. Laxma Reddy said the posts were being filled to ensure quality medical services as more people were going to government hospitals.
