Andhra Pradesh: Call to shift obstructing wires

Representatives concerned talked about the APCRDA two-day workshop with the top official.

Vijayawada: The CRDA special chief secretary, Mr Ajay Jain, asked the authorities concerned on Monday to get electrical wires that pose a hinderance in Amaravati shifted away immediately. Mr Ajay Jain met APCRDA and ADC authorities here and suggested that a dedicated team is needed to complete the work for the electricity department. He asked them to shift the 400KV and 220KV power lines that pass near government complexes of run across selected roads. He ordered a team be set up with an AD and two EEs as a subdivision.

They discussed issues like land acquisition and food junctions. Representatives concerned talked about the APCRDA two-day workshop with the top official. APCRDA commissioner Dr Cherukuri Sridhar and ADC chairperson Lakshmi Parthasaradi explained to him about the work in progress.

V. Rama Mohana Rao, special commissioner, APCRDA, Krutika Sukla, joint-collector, Guntur, APCRDA additional commissioners, Sagili Shan Mohan, B.L.
