Vijayawada: After the swearing-in of new Cabinet ministers, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan held a closed door meeting for almost an hour.
The meeting assumed significance in the wake of the recent outburst by Mr Naidu against Mr Narasimhan. Mr Naidu had taken objection to the Governor calling DGP R.P. Thakur directly immediately after the knife attack on Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan. He had openly expressed displeasure over the Governor’s functioning, even going to the extent of indirectly hinting that he was working against the TD government.
