Visakhapatnam: In a bid to clear the extra rush of passengers for Sabarimala, East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains between Visakhapatnam and Kollam for 11 trips and Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam-via Kazipet. The train No. 08567 Visakhapatnam-Kollam, bi-weekly special express train, will leave Vizag on Saturday and Wednesday at 11 pm and reach Kollam on Mondays and Fridays at 3.45 am from Dec. 2, to Jan. 6, 2018 (11 trips).
In the return direction, the train No. 08568 Kollam-Visakhapatnam will leave Kollam on Mondays and Fridays at 5.45 am and reach Vizag on Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30 am from Dec. 4, 2017 to January 8, 2018 (11 trips). Moreover, the train No. 07148 Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam Special train will leave Secunderabad on Saturday i.e. November 18, 2017 at 3.55 pm which will reach Visakhapatnam on the next day (Sunday) at 03.30 am.
In the return direction, Train No. 07147 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad train will leave Vizag on Sunday i.e. Nov. 19 at 9.25 pm and reach Secunderabad the next day, 9.05 am. Enroute these special trains will stop at Ramannapet, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry stations in both the directions.
