Robert Vadra has encroached 1,100 acres, says NR Ramesh

These encroached government lands as per rule should be given to local landless farmers, who are tilling the land for more than 12 years.

Bengaluru: BJP city unit spokesman N.R. Ramesh has alleged that Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi, has encroached upon government land of 1,100 acre, worth over Rs 7,000 crore, with the help of senior Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar.

Sharing a bundle of 437 page documents to support his allegation, Ramesh said "Vadra's DLF firm has used all kind of illegal ways to grab 1,100 acre at Bangalore South taluk's Gangenahalli, Narasipura, Varthuru and Peddanapalya villages. Fake documents were created to achieve this with the help of Minister Shivakumar, former urban DC Shankar and other officials."

These encroached government lands as per rule should be given to local landless farmers, who are tilling the land for more than 12 years. But using influence these lands have been given to non locals and non farmers, Ramesh alleged.

A complaint has been filed with the ED, IT, ACB, BMTF and Lokayukta against DLF firm and Shivakumar said Ramesh.
