Vijayawada: The 15th Finance Commission chairman N.K. Singh on Thursday said that there is no system in place to implement the provisions of the AP Reorganisation Act.
Mr Singh and other members of the commission met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, ministers and officials at the Secretariat in Velagapudi where they clarified that Special Category Status does not come under the 15th Finance Commission.
Mr Singh praised Mr Naidu, describing him as ‘a real CEO’ who developed the state on all fronts. Assuring positive help from the finance commission, he said that AP and India should grow together.
