Hyderabad: Several employee unions of the TSRTC have given a notice to the corporation threatening to go on strike from September 25 if their demands are not met.
The strike notice has been served by the Road Transport Corporation Employees Union and Telangana Mazdoor Union. Earlier, the Telangana Jathiya Mazdoor Union, Employees Union and other organisations have also given the notice for strike.
The charter of demands presented by employee unions includes merging of RTC with the government, recruiting addition staff, and initiating measures for welfare employees. “If the state government fails to accept the demands made by the employee unions, we will go on strike from September 25,” Telangana Mazdoor Union warned.
