Hyderabad: Nawab Najaf Ali Khan, the grandson of the VII Nizam, on Tuesday congratulated Hyderabad police chief Anjani Kumar and all those involved in nabbing the thieves who stole Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan’s antique artifacts.
“We are proud of our police force which is one of the best in the country who have solved the case with skill and efficiency. We cannot put into words the amount of joy and relief we had after the stolen items of our beloved grandfather were recovered,” Mr Khan said.
“However, it is bittersweet, as our happiness is mixed with feelings of disappointment with the museum’s management. The management should learn a lesson from this incident and take the issue seriously by installing top security systems to avoid such incidents in the future,” he added.
