Hyderabad: Four-year graduation courses are the need of the hour as three-year courses are not considered equivalent abroad due to which many students end up taking bridge courses before they are admitted into master’s programmes, says an expert.
Professor GVK Reddy, an education expert said, “In the US, our three-year programmes are viewed as comparable to completion of three years of bachelor’s programmes.
“Indian students are generally required to complete extra courses to be admitted to master’s programmes. While seeking jobs they face the same problem,’’ the professor said.
