Pudukkottai: Gramma Sabha meetings will be held in 497 village panchayats across Pudukkottai district on August 15, Independence Day.
In a release here on Sunday, district collector Mrs. B. Umamaheswari said at the Gramma Sabha meetings several things will be discussed including anti-dengue activities, various welfare measures, development projects of the respective village panchayats, implementing the ban on plastics, consumer protection activities etc. She appealed to the people of the respective village panchayat area to attend the meeting without fail.
