Begumpet blast case: It's time to celebrate for them
Hyderabad: It was celebration time at the houses of the persons who were acquitted in the Task Force office blast case.
Friends and relatives made a beeline to their houses to congratulate them. Their neighbours also greeted them as they were seeing them after many years.
Three of them Mohammed Kaleem, Mohd Zahed and Syed Haji, who were friends for several years prayed at a local mosque. The friends later gathered at a nearby cement platform and sat together.
“The practice will continue, we used sit on the chabutra after Friday prayers. In those days we were very worried about our future and used to discuss future plans,” recalled Mr Syed Haji who was aged 21 when he was arrested in the case. Mr Raoof, a friend of the three said that they had lost precious years in jail. “The government should take action against the police officials who falsely implicated us,” he said.
The families were very excited to see their dear ones after a long time. “At last justice prevailed and they were proved innocent. Now we hope they will stay with us,” said a member of Zahed’s family.
