Six including Vaiko, Anbumani elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha from Tamil Nadu

Chennai: As many as six candidates — three from ruling AIADMK and its ally PMK and three from opposition DMK and its ally MDMK — were declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha (RS) from Tamil Nadu on Thursday in the biennial election from the State to fill the six vacancies due shortly.
The returning officer for the RS poll announced here this evening the six elected candidates included Former minister Muhammath John and N Chandrasegaran (both AIADMK), Dr Anbumani Ramadoss (PMK), P Wilson and M Shanmugam (both DMK), besides Vaiko (MDMK). n P4
