New Zealand will win, says astrologer

\"I had also predicted the fall of the Karnataka Government. It is unfolding now and the end will happen pretty soon\", he said.

Chennai: Social media on Thursday exploded with a video of a Tamil TV show dating back to October last year, featuring a Salem-based young astrologer predicting India's loss in the World Cup. The mechanical engineer dabbling in 'stars' now says the jathagam (horoscope) of New Zealand is the best placed for winning the coveted cup.

"Our stars were placed in such unfavourable position that India could not win. Mercury and Rahu, which dominate the sports arena, favour New Zealand winning the World Cup", says Balaji Haasan brimming with confidence, which he insists stems from his huge success rate - he says more than 90 per cent of his predictions, arrived at after considerable study of the horoscopes and star positions, have come true.

"I had predicted that Narendra Modi will form the government with 330-335 seats and he has got 353 MPs with him now. My other predictions include Jagan Mohan Reddy winning in Andhra Pradesh, Nitish in Bihar and Imran Khan becoming Prime Minister in Pakistan. I had also said the BJP-AIADMK alliance would not get more than one to three seats in the April 18 Lok Sabha elections. All these predictions were made much before the events occurred", Balaji said, referring to the dates of his past predictions. n P5

"I had also predicted the fall of the Karnataka Government. It is unfolding now and the end will happen pretty soon", he said.

On the scary side, the engineer-astrologer said Tamil Nadu would be "struck by a viral fever much like the Chikungunya during September-October when Saturn and Jupiter will meet at Dhanush (Sagitarius) rasi".

"Jupiter's star name starts with 'Aa' and Saturn's with 'Pa' and so this viral fever will have the name beginning with 'Aap'. It will strike the northeastern region of India first and spread down. And it will mostly affect women; about 80 per cent of the victims would be women", says the young astrologer, turning serious.
