Telangana: Good show in IIT JEE by kids of tribal welfare schools

The result was celebrated as most students were from rural backgrounds and were children of daily labourers.

Hyderabad: The students of social and tribal welfare residential schools have delivered a great performance in IIT- JEE, 2017. 33 tribal students and 25 residential school students have qualified for admission into IITs across India. M. Karthik, hailing from Telangana secured the 430th All India rank in SC category and Devendra Naik bagged 167th rank in the ST category.

The result was celebrated as most students were from rural backgrounds and were children of daily labourers. Dr RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary, TSWREIS & TTWREIS says, “The entire credit goes to the teachers and the students for their hard work and commitment.”
