Sacked man killed Nadeemuddin

Father goes into depression, says son was a nice person.

Hyderabad: Md Nadeemuddin of Hyderabad was murdered in London by a 26-year-old Pakistani whom he had sacked. Thames Valley, London, police arrested Aqib Pervaiz, the Pakistani, on charges of murder on Friday.

According to the family membes of Nadeemuddin, Pervaiz used to work with Nadeemuddin in Poundland. Since Pervaiz was not performing his duties well, Nadeemuddin removed him from the job. Pervaiz bore a grudge against Nadeemuddin for this reason and hatched a plan to kill him. Police said Pervaiz called up Nadeemuddin in the morning of Wednesday, the day of the murder, and warned him of dire consequences if he did not take him back.

Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Mr Faheem Qureshi, a family friend of Nadeemuddin, said, “Nadeemuddin used to get down at Slough station and commute through the Tesco supermarket to reach his office. Pervaiz observed his movements and in a premeditated action stabbed him in chest and abdomen on Wednesday.”

Nadeemuddin’s father, Md Ameenuddin, 53, who stays with him in London, was hospitalised after he went to depression on hearing of the news of his son’s murder.

Mr Qureshi said that Nadeemuddin was a loyal and disciplined worker. He proved that Indians are loyal and honest in their work and should be honoured, Mr Qureshi said.

Meanwhile, TS home minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali wrote to Union minister Sushma Swaraj requesting her to arrange visas at the earliest on humanitarian grounds for Nadeemud-din’s mother-in-law Ayesha Sulthana to join her eight-month pregnant daughter Dr Afshan and for his family members to attend the funeral. Thames Valley police in a press release stated, “We have Friday charged Aqib Pervaiz, aged 26, of Rochford Gardens, Slough, with one count of murder. The charge is in connection with an incident in the car park of Tesco in Wellington Street, Slough, at 12.32 pm on Wednesday, which resulted in the death of 24-year-old Nadeemuddin Hameed Mohammed, from Southall.”

The release added Nadeemuddin had been stabbed in the chest and taken to hospital where he died. Pervaiz has been remanded to custody and will appear before the Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
