PERAMBALUR: The DMK general secretary Prof K. Anbazhagan has expelled the party’s former MLA and the party’s Perambalur district deputy secretary Rajkumar for his recent actions which damaged the party’s image, according to party sources.
It might be recalled that Mr. Rajkumar was handed down a ten-year jail term in connection with having sexually assaulted a minor girl.
He is now in prison, sources added.
