Warangal: Warangal district topped the SSC results announced on Wednesday registering a pass percentage of 95.13 on Wednesday. Deputy Chief Minister and education minister Kadiam Srihari declared the results.
In Warangal district, a total of 26,647 boys appeared for the test and of them 25,323 passed the examination. Of the total 26,420 girls who appeared for the SSC examination, 25,158 passed. As a whole, 53,067 students appeared for the SSC examination and 50,481 students cleared it.
Collector Vakati Karuna congratulated all the students and teachers who worked hard to achieve the distinction. DEO Rajiv met the collector along with education department officials at the district collectorate and distributed sweets.
