Allocations: Telangana lawyers explore legal options

Sources disclosed that the association members have already submitted their objections in sealed covers.

Hyderabad: Judicial officers working in subordinate courts in TS would launch a legal battle against the provisional allocation of officers between AP and TS.

The subordinate judicial officers of TS have decided to convene a closed door meeting to explore options before them in their struggle against the allocations, according to sources close to them.

These include filing cases in court after taking advice from retired SC and HC judges, and also launching protest programmes like wearing black badges during lunch hour and applying for mass casual leave after obtaining permission from the Chief Justice of the High Court.

The Telangana Subordinate Judicial Officers Association has resolved to write to the President, Prime Minister, CJI and Central and state ministers, seeking a separate High Court for AP, and take steps to ensure justice to them in allocations between the two states, sources revealed.

Sources disclosed that the association members have already submitted their objections in sealed covers to their district judges against the allocations made by the High Court.
