Tirupati: 9 day Brahmotsavam ends with Snapanam
Tirupati: The nine-day annual Brahmotsavams at the ancient temple of Lord Kodandarama Swamy here concluded on a grand note with Chakrasnanam in Kapilateertham tank on Thursday.
The utsava murthies of Lord Sri Rama, Goddess Sita and Sri Lakshmana Swamy, along with Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, were taken to Kapilateertham in Sri Kapileswara swamy temple complex and Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed with religious fervour, amidst chanting of hymns from the scriptures.
After Snapanam, the Chakrasnanam (celestial bath) was rendered to Sudarshana Chakrattalwar by immersing the holy disc in sacred waters of temple tank marking the conclusion of Brahmotsavams.
Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Temple DyEO E.C. Sreedhar and others were also present.
