Tamil Nadu bandh: KSRTC loses Rs 19.44 lakh

BENGALURU: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, which cancelled 111 bus trips to Tamil Nadu on Tuesday because of a bandh called in that state for the setting up of Cauvery Management Board, has incurred losses of Rs 19.44 lakh. 

Angry protestors broke the windshields of two KSRTC buses at Cuddalore and Sathyamangalam. Except this, no other untoward incidents were reported, a KSRTC source said. Bus services resumed from 3 pm on Tuesday.
