TOSA conference: Doctors throw light on Covid hip, an outcome of the pandemic

Hyderabad: Doctors from the Telangana Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (Tosa), at its three-day 8th annual Conference here, spoke about the ‘Covid hip,’ an outcome of the pandemic.

"The pain usually starts in the front of the thigh, or sometimes in the knee. This could be due to the changes in the hip called avascular necrosis. The early signs are pain and stiffness of the hip. The patient finds it difficult to stand up and climb stairs," he said.
