Rajahmundry sub-collector C.M. Sai Kanth Varma reviewed the ongoing awareness programme with the authorities on Monday.
There is, however, a genuine need to allay fears on the working of EVMs, that when shown as malfunctioning have tended to favour a certain national party and its symbol.
Rajahmundry: Authorities are carrying out awareness programme among the voters on usage of EVMs and also taking up a campaign advising the voters to exercise their vote in the ensuing polls in the state.
Rajahmundry sub-collector C.M. Sai Kanth Varma reviewed the ongoing awareness programme with the authorities on Monday.
The authorities informed the sub-collector that they had carried out such programme at 221 polling stations in two phases.
