Hyderabad: The road near Masjid Banda in Kondapur continues to be in a bad state giving commuters a bumpy ride since the monsoons last year.
Residents of Camelot layout who are primarily the IT employees allege that despite lodging several complaints with the civic body nothing has progressed. It was seen that this area has an overflowing sewerage problem as well.
According to GHMC officials, the proposal to lay the road in the area has already been sanctioned under periodical preventive maintenance and the tender process is in progress.
A resident from Camelot layout, J. Prateek, said, “Every time we contact them, they say tender process is in progress and the process is really taking a long time. All we need is for the GHMC to expedite the process and lay the road before the onset of monsoon. If not this road is going to be a mess.”
