Hyderabad: MIM MLC Syed Altaf Hyder Razvi questioned the state government for ignoring the 50th death anniversary of Nizam VII, Mir Osman Ali Khan. Speaking during a discussion on the motion of thanks to Governor’s address in the Council. he demanded that the government to felicitate the family of Nizam VII, founder of Osmania University, at the centenary celebrations of the university, accord recognition to the Nizam and retain the original logo of the university which also featured Urdu. Mr Razvi said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had in the past visited the grave of Nizam VII, but government had completely ignored him now.
