TIRUPATI: YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy began his Praja Sankalpa Yatra on the 59th day on Thursday by interacting with contract junior lecturers near Vedarakuppam village in Chittoor district. The lecturers y told the leader of Opposition that they have been working on contract basis since 2000 and urged him to take steps to regularise their jobs and provide job security for them.
Mr Reddy promised that he would look into it and also conduct a comprehensive study across departments to resolve the issues of regularisation of employees in the state. He also spoke to the farmers at Nemallagunta Palle under Chandragiri constituency. “To help the farmers, I would definitely implement price stability fund with a budget of Rs 3,000 crore.”
