Hyderabad: City police officials said that the ‘Sunday Funday’ programme at Tank Bund and the ‘Ek Shaam Charminar Ke Naam’ of the old city are postponed due to Omicron.
“Until some clarity emerges on #Omicron, the Sunday-Funday #TankBund & "Ek Shaam Charminar ke naam" programme are put on hold and shall not take place this Sunday” (sic) tweeted the Urban Development Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar IAS tweeted on Friday.
Earlier too, the Omicron threat had hit Funday and Charminar programmes last week, in view over the new variant.
