Hyderabad: To curb irregularities and fake attendance, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has decided to introduce the human resource management system (HRMS) where all employee, including the commissioner, register the attendance on bio-metric machines. Besides this, details like salaries and working hours also will be recorded.
According to a GHMC official, the civic house will have a master data base where services and details of all regular and contract employees will be stored. A payroll data pertaining to salaries, bio-metric system and working hours also will be maintained. HRMS will also be used for transfer of provident fund money.
GHMC officials claimed that HRMS will be introduced for the first time in the country in Telangana. He said that HRMS will curb irregularities in the GHMC. He said there are allegations against assistant medical officer for health, sanitary supervisors and sanitary assistants that they are looting the PF amount of contract employees.
