HC adjourns Amaravati assigned land scam case to Nov. 22

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court adjourned the hearing on Amaravati assigned land scam case to Nov. 22.

A single judge bench headed by Justice K. Krupasagar held a hearing on AP CID’s plea to reopen the hearing on quash petitions filed by TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and former minister P. Narayana in the case.

Additional public prosecutor Dushyanth Reddy submitted that the additional advocate general Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy would present the arguments in the case, but he was unable to attend the court due to personal reasons and prayed for deferring the hearing of the matter.

The AP CID registered a case in 2021 based on a complaint lodged by YSR Congress MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy accusing Naidu and Narayana, along with others in the case.
