Hyderabad: MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi reiterated his claim that there was a threat to his life and people from different parts of the country were reaching Hyderabad with an intention to kill him.
Addressing an election meeting at Yakutpura on Friday, he said he was receiving threatening letters and phone calls. He said he was not fazed by the threats. “When I was not killed after receiving three bullets, how will I be killed by your bullets,” he asked.
Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi said that some people had come from Bengaluru to kill him and had even chased him. Of them two were eliminated and one was nabbed. He confessed that the gang had come to execute him, the MIM leader claimed.
Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi said that he was hearing reports that 11 people had come from from Banaras, Allahabad and Karnataka to kill him. “I am ready to die. I will take the bullet on my chest. I will not take the bullet in my back,” he said.
