Hyderabad: In all, 99,226 applicants have filed for fresh enrolment of voters, of which about 10 per cent may be rejected.
The final electoral rolls with new voters will be announced on November 19, the last day of receipt of nominations.
Claims will be disposed of as per the procedure prescribed by the Election Commission of India, GHMC commissioner and district election officer M. Dana Kishore on Saturday.
The voter’s slip has been refurbished and will have the photograph of the voter along with route map to the polling station and will be delivered at the doorstep of voters by December 1.
