Hyderabad: With BS Maktha, near Hussainsagar, acquiring a vibrant look following the work done by 19 artists, the GHMC plans to seek their help to beautify other areas in the city too.
“The help of artist from the Jawaharlal Nehru University of Fine Arts will be taken to help paint the walls at the road corners near the Raj Bhavan, Dilkusha Guest House and other important points. Paintings will also be taken up at the main junctions which have vulnerable garbage points, GHMC commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy said.
“The street art festival will close on November 25. The festival will be celebrated every year,” government adviser B.V. Papa Rao. The same day, a statue named ‘I Love Hyderabad’ will be installed at Tank Bund.
