IIT-Hyderabad scholars prove mettle at India International Innovation Fair

Out of the four projects presented, IIT-Hyderabad students bagged three gold medals.

Hyderabad: Research students of IIT-Hyderabad proved their mettle at the India International Innovation Fair held in Bengaluru last month. Out of the four projects presented, IIT-Hyderabad students bagged three gold medals.

The fair was organised by the Indian Innovators Association (IIA), an organisation of innovators formed to help budding innovators. IIA encourages networking to secure help in bringing inventions successfully to the market. IIA is the Indian unit of the International Federation of Inventors Associations, a global NGO of inventors associations from across the world. The participants at the fair included educational institutions (IIT-Hyderabad and IIT-Madras), organisations like CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) and start-up companies.
