A villager had told him that his problems would be solved if he meets Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Hyderabad: Mild tension gripped the Chief Minister’s Camp Office, Pragati Bhavan, on Sunday morning when security personnel found a person carrying a white plastic container with a white powder in it approaching the main entrance. He was stopped for questioning.

The man, P. Ramesh, 39, hailing from Ellanthakunta village in Karimnagar district had completed BEd, but could not secure a job and started working as a labourer. Meanwhile, his mother fell sick a few months ago and became bedridden. A villager had told him that his problems would be solved if he meets Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Accordingly, he came to Pragati Bhavan on Sunday morning. While he was approaching the entrance, security personnel saw him and found a plastic container filled with a white powder in it. He was apprehended and handed over to Punjagutta police station for inquiry which revealed that he had come to meet the CM, but had no appointment and was not aware of the process. Cops found nothing suspicious.
