Already 60 hectares of crop have been destroyed in the district due to rains.
Kannur: Heavy rainfall has resulted in seven landslides in the district so far. Five places in Iritty taluk and two in Taliparamba taluk were hit hard with landslides.
This was followed by severe damage to homes, land and agriculture.
