Madhya Pradesh: Blue Whale player saved from suicide

Bhopal: Apparently playing the infamous online game ‘Blue Whale challenge’, a 13-year-old boy on Thursday tried to jump off the third floor of his school here, but fellow students and teachers thwarted his attempt, police said.

The incident took place in the Chameli Devi high school in district headquarters town of Indore. The alleged victim of the challenge — which is known as suicide game — has been sent for psychological counseling, police said.

The incident comes weeks after a school boy took away his life while participating in the dangerous game in Mumbai.
