Sources in JD (S) said Mr Gowda was keen to visit Sringeri and offer puja before Mr Kumaraswamy's visit. His plans, however, changed when he heard that the Shankaracharya of Sringeri Math would visit Bengaluru on Thursday. The JD (S) patriarch is likely to give his final opinion on Mr Kumaraswamy's resignation after meeting the seer on Thursday. Sources said party leaders are contemplating convincing Congress leaders about en masse resignation of legislators.
