Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan
Hyderabad: Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan promulgated the Telangana Gaming (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2017, imposing a ban on online gambling and betting.
The Ordinance was cleared by the state Cabinet on June 17 and referred to the Governor for approval. The Ordinance was brought to amend the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, and was published in the Telangana Gazette.
