CM had reportedly sought updates on both the cases.

Bengaluru: The CID police investigating the cases of suicides by two DySPs have reportedly briefed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Dr G. Parameshwar about the progress in investigation in both the cases.

As the opposition parties have planned to attack the government in the ongoing Legislature Session on Monday, in connection with the suicide cases of M.K. Ganapati and Kallappa Handibag, the CM had reportedly sought updates on both the cases. Accordingly, the CID top brass briefed the CM and Home Ministers the details related to both the cases.

It is learnt that the CM was briefed about the family problems and depression faced by Ganapati to tackle the questions that would be asked by the opposition parties.
